Is a multivitamin enough?

Vero Beach Chiropractor- Most times, it is enough.  But in some cases, you more of a particular vitamin for a short amount of time to build up levels of that vitamin within the body.  Let take Vitamin D for instance.  You can have your Vit D levels tested and let’s say they come back as 23.  I would consider this to be on the low side.  The RDA is 400iu/day.  In order to raise your levels to say, 50. You might need to take 10000 iu/day for a little while to raise your levels within your body.  Most vitamin levels can be tested in your blood to find your levels to see if you need to take those vitamins or not.  Dr. Thomas Harmody is a chiropractor at Vero Walk-In Chiropractic and Wellness in Vero Beach, Fl.
